Owl Conservation

     

    
Not only are owls interesting animals, but they also play an important part in the ecosystem. Yet, their numbers are
dwindling at an alarming rate due to deforestation, rodenticides poisoning, and the consequence of less prey.  Sadly, there are already a number of owls that have became extinct, such as the Laughing Owl and Madagascar Red Owl.

 

Let's all do what we can to aid 

in the conservation of the remaining owls of the world!


One easy way to help owls is to provide them with a 'bird house', or,  Owl Box. These boxes can be hand made or purchased:
